I know - it sounds goofy, but now that we have the house this is the plan: Weather permitting, we hit the road on Friday for California. More later on that part of the journey as it happens. If the weather looks exceptionally bad at the mountain pass we may opt to put off the CA trip and head home - but the weather report looks fairly good for Friday so we shall see.
